This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data and the use of cookies on the “Centrum Budownictwa Ochronnego” website available at tki.wat.edu.pl (hereinafter: “the Website”).

§1 Definitions

§3 Scope and purposes of personal data processing

1. Contact form

  • The contact form processes personal data such as: first name, surname, email address, message content and IP address.
  • The data is processed for the purpose of handling enquiries, conducting correspondence and protecting against abuse (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the Controller’s legitimate interest).
  • Providing data is voluntary but necessary to process the enquiry. Failure to provide data will prevent the purpose from being fulfilled.
  • The data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose, and thereafter for the limitation period of any potential claims.

2. Statistics and Google Analytics

  • The website uses Google Analytics, a tool for analysing visitor statistics, which may collect data such as: IP address, browser type, screen resolution, location, pages visited, time spent on the website, operating system, browser language.
  • This data is collected automatically and anonymously.
  • The use of Google Analytics may involve the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the USA) on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

The User has the following rights:

  • access to their data,
  • to rectify data,
  • to have their data erased (‘the right to be forgotten’),
  • to restrict processing,
  • to data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

  • Personal data is processed for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose, and after its completion for the limitation period of claims or until consent is withdrawn (in the case of the newsletter).
  • Anonymous statistical data may be retained indefinitely.

The Controller implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction.

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy. Users will be informed of significant changes via the website or by email (in the case of account holders or newsletter subscribers). Changes come into effect upon publication.
